Why the serving is 300mg. Much of the category asks you to take a gram. Serving size is a function of purity — ours is small because the jar holds gold-grade resin and nothing else. If a product needs a gram, it is worth asking what is in the other 700mg.

Before you buy anyone's shilajit
A lab report alone proves nothing.
A lab report can’t tell you whether shilajit is real. It only tells you whether the sample contains heavy metals. That’s a problem, because most of the shilajit sold today is synthetic, and anything cooked up in a lab will pass a heavy-metal test easily. It was never near a mountain.
So before you buy shilajit from any brand, ask for one thing: video evidence of their actual process, from the rock to the jar. If they can’t show it, ask yourself why.

Harvesting
Ask which rock face, at what altitude, in which month — and ask to see it. Ours is hand-scraped on ropes at 17,000–18,000 ft, and in a good season the teams carry close to 500 kg down one pack at a time. A brand that buys paste by the drum has nothing to show you.
Raw material
What comes off the mountain is stone with dark shilajit running through it, not a finished product. Quality shows before any lab test: thick, resin-rich seams with the rare golden-red shine. Most sellers have never seen their own raw material, because they never had any.
Filtration
Triphala first, then ultra UV, then nano filtration — about a week per batch. Two rules hold the whole way through: no heat, ever, and nothing artificial, ever. Rock and grit come out; the shilajit is never altered.
Sun-drying
The hardest step to fake, which is why it is the most useful question. Ours dries on open glass beds for 45–70 days, turned by hand. A fire-dried paste has no drying beds to photograph and no seventy days to account for.

Gummies exist for the jar of resin sitting unopened in a cupboard. Here is what to expect from the routine itself, with no claims about how you will feel on a schedule.

It depends entirely on what is in them. A gummy made with a cheap extract is mostly sugar and gelatine. Ours carry 200mg of the same sun-dried resin we sell in jars, so what you get is the resin in a different wrapper.
One. They are formulated as a single daily serving, not as sweets.
Honey — no added refined sugar. They are gluten-free and gelatine-free, but because of the honey they are not vegan, and we would rather tell you that than print a claim the ingredient list contradicts.
Because there is real resin in them. Apple flavour covers most of it, but shilajit is a mineral resin and a gummy that tastes of nothing but apple probably has very little in it.
