About shilajit
It is a natural source of fulvic acid and trace minerals, and it has been used in that role for a very long time. It supports your body's own energy production and everyday resilience rather than acting on you the way a stimulant does — which is also why people describe the effect as gradual.
In the regions it comes from it has been taken daily as a mineral tonic for centuries, by men and women alike. It is a food, not a treatment, and anyone selling it as the second thing is selling you something else.
Where it was scraped off the rock. Ours comes from 17,000–18,000 ft in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. "Himalayan" on a jar means nothing on its own — ask which valley, and ask for a photograph of it.
It seeps out of rock faces in summer, when the sun warms the stone enough to push it through. It is formed over centuries as plant matter compresses between the layers, which is why it cannot be farmed. How we harvest it.
Grading language is used across the whole category and explained almost nowhere. In short it refers to the highest-altitude, highest-purity material from a harvest, and it is a supplier term rather than a regulated standard. The grades, explained properly.
Taking it
Scoop a rice-grain to pea-sized portion with the steel spatula, drop it into warm water, tea or milk, and stir until it dissolves. Warm liquid, not boiling — and not cold, which takes forever.
Water, milk, tea, coffee or a smoothie. Milk hides the taste best. Coffee is fine and nothing about it cancels the shilajit out, whatever you have read.
You can, and some people do. It is bitter and it sticks to your teeth, which is the honest reason most people dissolve it instead.
Because serving size is a function of purity. Ours is 300mg because the jar contains gold-grade resin and nothing else — no fillers, no carrier, nothing bulking it out.
If a product asks you to take a gram, that is worth a question rather than a shrug: what is in the other 700mg? A smaller serving of unadulterated resin is the entire argument for buying unadulterated resin.
It varies a great deal between people, and anyone quoting you a fixed number of days is guessing. We wrote about realistic timelines.
That is how it has traditionally been used, and consistency matters more than quantity — a small portion daily beats a large one twice a week. Take a break whenever you want to; nothing is lost by stopping.
Safety
Purified shilajit is a food-grade mineral resin and ours contains nothing but shilajit. The real safety question in this category is not the material, it is what has been added to it — which is why every batch is tested and the report published. See the reports.
If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or managing a medical condition, speak to a healthcare professional before starting. That is a conversation for them and not for a website, and we would rather say so than reassure you.
Most people do. If you take prescription medication, ask a pharmacist or your doctor first — they can see your whole list and we cannot.
Raw shilajit comes off the rock mixed with stone and plant matter, and it is not something to eat. Purification is what removes it. Anyone selling "raw, unfiltered" shilajit is describing a step they skipped.
They are gluten-free and gelatine-free, made in the USA from our Pakistani resin, with 200mg of real sun-dried resin each and no added refined sugar — they are sweetened with honey, so they are not vegan. Check the pouch for the full ingredient list if you have an allergy.
For women
Yes, and traditionally they always have. The idea that shilajit is a men's supplement is a marketing decision made by Western brands, not something the material or its history says. Our guide for women.
No. The same rice-grain to pea-sized portion, once daily.
Shilajit is a natural dietary source of iron and other trace minerals. It is not an iron supplement and should not be used as a substitute for one if you have been told you need one.
Ask your midwife or doctor. We are not going to give you an answer on that one, and you should be wary of any supplement company that does.
Buying, shipping and returns
Wherever you buy it, ask for the four proofs before you ask for a lab report: evidence of harvesting, of the raw material, of filtration and of drying. If a seller has none of them, the certificate is not worth much. The four checks.
Resin is extremely stable — it formed over centuries and a few years in a sealed jar does not trouble it. Keep it sealed, at room temperature, out of direct sun, and keep water out of the jar. Water is the only real enemy.

Our promise
Zero fillers. Nothing added, nothing taken away. Nature made this over centuries, and our only job is to keep it that way between the mountain and your jar — no heat, no chemicals, no shortcuts.
Your body is built to take minerals from natural sources, not synthetic ones. That's the whole reason we do it the slow way. Your health matters to us more than our production speed does.
